Building set of the French supersonic fighter aircraft Mirage IIIS in Swiss Air Force camouflage. The model has adjustable control surfaces and a specially modified pilot figure sitting in the cockpit. Under the wings, there are two missiles and additional tanks. The assembled model can stand on its own landing gear or on a stand with a label, which is included in the package. Whether the pilot in the cockpit has the famous Swiss chocolate, we do not know.

» The delta wing shape, along with a powerful engine, allowed the fighter to be the first in the world to exceed Mach 2 speed in horizontal flight.

» The aircraft was produced in large numbers for the French Air Force and many foreign customers, such as Switzerland, where it was produced under EFW license.
» Swiss-made machines used auxiliary rockets for takeoff, and the fighter had a reinforced fuselage. 
» Despite being an older design, machines equipped with the latest electronics are still very dangerous opponents today.
» Israeli pilot Giora Hawkeye Epstein flew the Mirage III, shooting down 17 enemy aircraft during the Six-Day and Yom Kippur Wars, and is considered the greatest jet fighter ace.
