Construction set of the American fighter aircraft model F-5A in the colors of the Norwegian Air Force. The model has adjustable rear control surfaces, removable landing gear legs, and a specially adapted figure to be seated in the cockpit. An additional fuel tank is suspended under the fuselage. The assembled model can stand on its own landing gear or on a stand with a description, which is included in the package. Construction sets in 1:48 scale bring the same joy but take up more space on the shelf. The model is manufactured under the official license of Northrop Grumman.

Interesting facts:
The development of the aircraft began in 1956 as a smaller and cheaper alternative to the F-4 Phantom.
Since the United States did not need such an aircraft in the 1960s, the F-5 became a major export item.
Compact, lightweight, fast, and agile aircraft attracted the attention of many countries due to its low acquisition and operational costs.
After flight tests in 1959, orders just poured in. A total of 36 countries included F-5 fighters in their arsenal.
The F-5 was actually an excellent aircraft, popular among pilots and ground personnel for its easy maintenance. In 1970, the F-5 even won an international fighter competition.
Over time, the aircraft was modernized, resulting in various versions such as a training special, a radar reconnaissance special, or aircraft capable of in-flight refueling for the US Navy.
The name Freedom Fighter was earned by the aircraft during the defense of South Vietnam against the Viet Cong.
Licensed production also took place in Spain, Taiwan, Switzerland, and South Korea,
The aircraft was produced for almost 30 years, with approximately 1,400 units manufactured in total.
