The model can stand on its own undercarriage or on the included stand with a description. Includes a figure of a USAF pilot and navigator. The building set is manufactured under an official license from Lockheed Martin.

» Gripen aircraft were developed as a successor to the retired Draken and Viggen aircraft, also of Swedish production.
» The Swedish government initially considered purchasing American F-16 fighters, but after comparative tests, decided to develop its own aircraft that would better suit the needs of a country with a smaller economy.
» The command of the Swedish Air Force set several conditions that had to be unconditionally met, such as extremely high reliability, low maintenance and operating costs, high climb speed, low radar reflectivity, and online communication between aircraft.
