The model kit of the British tank Vickers A1E1 in 1:35 scale has dimensions of 21.5 cm in length, 8 cm in width, and 8 cm in height. The tank has movable elements, such as a rotating main turret with a movable cannon, rotating machine gun turrets, or a functional tracked chassis. Under the liftable hood, there is a model of the engine. The kit, made according to the template of the only preserved example, consists of 887 pieces and includes a tank crew figure.
COBI kits made in the EU are fully compatible with LEGO kits.
The British heavy tank Vickers A1E1 Independent was produced in a single prototype in 1926. For its time, it had strong armament consisting of a 47 mm caliber cannon in the main turret and 4 Vickers machine guns of 7.7 mm caliber in four separate turrets. The tank crew was supposed to consist of 8 men. However, the tank ended up as a single prototype and today is an ornament of The Tank Museum in Bovington, UK.
