In the offer of COBI, the most modern French fighter from World War II appears for the first time. The Dewoitine D.520 aircraft was designed and manufactured in 1938 at the aircraft manufacturing plant Société nationale des constructions aéronautiques du Midi. The Dewoitine D.520 was a single-seat fighter aircraft, an all-metal low-wing design. It was produced in series from March 1939. The production of the aircraft was not interrupted even by the capitulation of France in 1940. Further copies were made for the Vichy government, Luftwaffe, Italian, Bulgarian, and Romanian armies. Polish pilots defending France during the German invasion in 1940 were equipped with 26 aircraft of this type. In total, approximately 755 fighter aircraft were produced. The design proved to be so successful that the aircraft remained in operation even after the war until 1953.

With 283 COBI building blocks, you can build a faithfully reproduced Dewoitine D.520 fighter aircraft in a 1:32 scale. The historical camouflage and markings were reproduced using high-quality prints that do not wear out even with intensive use.
