The Pentagon Artaxes SF Level IV jacket is very suitable for tactical use, designed for moderately cold and wet weather. The Storm-Tex® surface treatment gives the jacket water resistance and breathability - the laminated outer membrane shows water resistance of 8,000 mm (water column) and breathability of 3,000 g/m2/24 h. Super soft fleece with Grid-tech® technology combined with the surface membrane ensures the fabric is wind and water-resistant, additionally effectively wicks away sweat while providing insulation.

Thanks to the elasticity of the used softshell fabric, the jacket offers comfort during normal movement and demanding activities. The jacket has a main closure with a quality two-way nylon YKK® zipper. The jacket has a hidden sturdy hood in the collar with a small visor and an adjustable elastic drawstring with stoppers. The hood is made of warm and water-resistant softshell. A reflective removable patch is mounted on the hood. The jacket has a high-standing collar that protects the upper part of the neck from adverse weather. It has 2 large chest pockets with a side slanted entry, allowing easy access to the contents.

The pockets have internal sleeves that serve well for storing flashlights, knives, pens, or electronic devices like radios, mobile phones, and similar. The left pocket has a closable opening for a headphone cable. Both pockets can still be used even when wearing a tactical vest. Furthermore, the jacket has 2 sleeve pockets with vertical entry and zipper closure, an RF-ID pocket on the left wrist, and 2 rear connected pockets with side entry closable with a zipper, which serve for storing gloves or similarly sized items.

All external pockets are mesh-lined inside. The jacket also has 2 internal document pockets (left and right). The sleeve pockets have velcro panels approximately 13 cm x 8 cm in size for attaching an ID tag, flag, rank, name tag, and similar.

Temperature comfort is provided by a pair of ventilation openings closed with a two-way zipper in the armpits. These openings are fitted with a protective insect mesh. The sleeve cuffs are adjustable. The bottom hem has a drawstring with stoppers for adjusting the circumference.

Grid-Tech represents a highly innovative step in body temperature control. Grid-Tech is a durable fleece fabric with intersecting pathways that create ventilation channels for cold air from outside and warm vapor from inside. These are trapped in the channels and together create a comfort zone that provides the wearer with very well-balanced body temperature regulation.

Storm-Tex®:
Storm-Tex is a lightweight membrane that simulates human skin and protects the user from external influences. Storm-Tex keeps the wearer dry and thanks to its porous surface, it is also highly breathable. Storm-Tex thus effectively prevents moisture formation on the inner side of the garment, which is the main cause of feeling cold or chilly.
