DCS is a lightweight low-profile system that is robust yet ergonomically designed to provide exceptional comfort and functionality. The DCS system was designed with direct input from active S.F. operators and is suitable for the requirements of special forces as well as for PSD operations.

The shoulders are fully adjustable and feature an emergency release on one side, which releases the left side of the shoulders and allows the operator to remove the kit without having to remove the operator's helmet. The side parts of the DCS are fully adjustable to size and can be adjusted in less than 15 seconds. A 3D spacer mesh lining is used to ensure comfort, allowing body heat to be dissipated from the body surface while aiding airflow, ensuring cooling.

The DCS system was developed to be worn in conjunction with the Warrior PLB Belt, Frag Belt, and low-profile Molle Belt (sold separately).
