WILEY X Protective Glasses JAKL Captivate – polarized blue lenses / glossy gray frame

WX JAKL are glasses designed for maximum performance, protection, and comfort during any outdoor activities. Thanks to the CAPTIVATE™ technology, you gain a completely new level of visual experience – better color perception, higher contrast, reduced glare, and exceptional image clarity.

The glasses feature polarized Blue Mirror lenses, which reduce the reflection of blue light (HEV) from the water surface and simultaneously balance the light spectrum. The frame made of durable Triloid™ Nylon in combination with rubber nose pads and temples ensures stability and comfort even during long-term wear.

These glasses are also tested according to the ANSI Z87.1 standard, which means that the frame and lenses meet or exceed the strict safety standards set by the American National Standards Institute. In practice, this means they pass two demanding tests:

• High Velocity Impact Test – the frame and lenses must withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel ball shot at a speed of 164.6 km/h without damage.

• High Mass Impact Test – the frame and lenses must remain intact even when struck by a 500 g projectile with a sharp tip from a height of 127 cm.
